Let me start on anatomy: it's quite good, emphasizes the cuteness as to say Color choice... is very nice, Pony looks really cute and colorful, it draws eye because of wonderful colors. Still there are some issues: as it was said before, blue hair blends with body color, so next time try to make it different tone or shade. Another one is that you didn't add any shadows, only highlits, it makes picture look unnatural in a way. also, speaking about the highlight, they are too round and also all of them look like spots. If you look closely at any object you'll see that somewhere highlits really blend. Another problem I had is an outline. The Pony is so light and colorful and the outline is so thick and black, they don't really fit in one picture. Next time you might want to try to make it a little lighter or a thinner. Animation adds a cool touch to overall piece. I really applaud you for using it. Overall your piece really adds joy to one's day, so great job
Hello, this is Rai... and I just wanted to tell you what i think.
Color Choice- You had fairly good color choice here... used a lot of different colors, and the shades of them go fairly well with eachother. However, i think the blue hair and the color of the main body was a bit too close. Also, rainbows are highly overdone. And since Rainbow Dash has literally, the same hair color, and body color, It's far from original. Despite all this, i still like the color theme. Perhaps experiment with using combinations of light and dark instead of the same saturation for each color.
Pose/Anatomy The anatomy isn't too bad. In fact, you did rather well in that aspect, so good job on that! However, even for an adoptable, the pose is really lacking. Try using a more dynamic pose next time; it will make the character seem more interesting, and thus make more people want to buy it. A good start to this is to use a line of action, make it flow well. And remember; a stationary pony is a dull pony. So That is probably my biggest complaint.
Lineart: The lineart on this piece is very good... nice and smooth. This is probably one of the best things about this piece. The slight variation in line weight makes it seem much more interesting, but you didn't go overboard.
Other: remember- highlights are not always going to be perfect circles! Some will be ovals, some different shapes entirely. Some may just be lines! Thats one spot you could really improve. Especially in the eyes... they look too uniform. Try a little mroe vairety on that one.
All in all, it was a very good design, and it caught my eye! Keep up the good work!
